The Thrill

Ms Jones... Honnneey!! I want to live in Blackwood, The Heights or Vegas just to be friends and live in all the blackness. I love how the characters connect and know each other. This really was a treat because I have read or listen to most of your catalog and it's always pretty cool to identify characters from other books and connect the dots.. Nubeia is the best friend every girl needs. This book gives you a update on their lives and introduce you to some new ones. FYI I need more about the Byer siblings. But this book gives you mystery with a twist. Just when you think you have figured it out something else happens. I'm glad this book popped up over the holiday. It was the perfect read. Oh shout out to Willow behind the scene on the keys! 😆

Twisty and Hot

I enjoyed the slow romance between Wick and Sandy. The plot definitely kept me guessing. There was so much turmoil for one woman. I kept checking the time left on the story and wondering 'what else could possibly happen?' and 'who else is about to pop up?'. The author does give us a glimpse into their relationship and life a few weeks after the events, but I did want an epililogue or an update on her business recovering. And cliche as marriage and a baby can be, I was kind of hoping that she found out that she was pregnant and at least got one of the things she desired (besides wick). If there is one critique its that I wanted some more happy in the happily ever after.

This is everything!

I felt every word. There was no down side to this book. It had just the right amount of everything. The story kept me on my toes from start to finish. This book was just everything.

The Heroine

The Heroine in this book is too smart to be so dumb! She was so annoying! The narration was the only thing that kept me listening.

This audiobook is so damn good to twist and turns in a are Great in this audiobook the narrator was perfect it would not be a waste of your credit

I finished this book in 2 DAYS...I neeeeeever finish in 2 day... I could NOT stop.
I also absolutely love listening to Jacobi Diem..

I really enjoyed the story. The narrators were very good. I’m definitely going to read more stories from Christina.

medium slow burn lots of detail

loved this who done it with a sexy twist. loved the chemistry of the couple and that they were very mature about all the bullshit they were putting each other through. this kept me guessing and piecing together all the leads. worth it

Romantic Suspense At It's Finest!!!

Whew chile! Where do I even begin?!!! Anonymous Acts was absolutely amazing! It was heavy on the suspense and there were so many twists and turns, I couldn't keep up. The storyline was full of page turning goodness. Poor Monica. She couldn't trust nobody. The betrayal was real in this book. She was surrounded by nothin' but backstabbers but, Wick came through for Monica when she desperately needed him. I just love how they met. It was so taboo. Wick and Monica thought they'd never cross paths with one another but, fate had other plans for them. I loved how nothing was as it seemed. Just when you think you know who the killer and saboteur is, CCJ hits us with a major plot twist. My mind was blown in that last chapter because, I did NOT see that coming! As with any CCJ book, we got to catch up with old friends. Monica just so happens to be besties with Kora, Nubia, Blake, and Chloe. We also got to see Demi (Desiree Byers' twin) do her thang. Anonymous Acts was such a good book. I love that it was outside of the box of what we normally expect from CCJ. It had a great plot, suspenseful enough to keep you guessing, romance, steamy sex, and humor. Read this book ladies and gents. You will not be disappointed.
