Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. Rosie Belmont has been driving me wild for years. The good kind of wild. The bad kind of wild. But mostly the kind of wild that comes with wanting your best friend’s little sister and knowing you can’t have her. After living in the city, she comes blasting back into Rose Hill like a storm. Beautiful, messy, and chaotic. And one wide-eyed desperate plea for a job is all it takes for me to hire her.

They say you can never go home again, and for Persephone Fraser, ever since she made the biggest mistake of her life a decade ago, that has felt too true. Instead of glittering summers on the lakeshore of her childhood, she spends them in a stylish apartment in the city, going out with friends, and keeping everyone a safe distance from her heart. Until she receives the call that sends her racing back to Barry’s Bay and into the orbit of Sam Florek—the man she never thought she’d have to live without.

Publisher's summary
A sharp and scintillating summer novel that will make listeners laugh out loud and cry happy tears from the New York Times bestselling author of Yours Truly.
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other’s out, and they’ll both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s a bonkers idea… and it just might work.
Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka.
It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected—including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?
Interview: The setting is as enchanting as the meet-cute in Abby Jimenez’s "Just for the Summer"

It’s been said that you can’t love two men at the same time. You can’t split your heart, soul, and body in half. But I’m here to tell you, you can. Dylan Cole is like ice, sharp and unpredictable, the thunder inside a tumultuous storm. Smith Reid is warmth, soft and gentle, perfect like a sunny day. Both are mine. But I can have only one. There are two sides to this tale. I'm here to tell you mine. If you think this story is about a cheater, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Story
It’s been said that you can’t love two men at the same time. You can’t split your heart, soul, and body in half. But I’m here to tell you, you can. Dylan Cole is like ice, sharp and unpredictable, the thunder inside a tumultuous storm. Smith Reid is warmth, soft and gentle, perfect like a sunny day. Both are mine. But I can have only one. There are two sides to this tale. I'm here to tell you mine. If you think this story is about a cheater, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Good but heavy
Well written, like all Abby J. Books. It’s sweet and at times, VERY funny. All of her books have some serious elements but this one is a bit too heavy at times, especially the second half of the book. I’m generally okay with it but the heavy parts of this one were really rough for me and seemed to drag on to the point where I couldn’t enjoy the story. Sometimes AJ goes over and over the same theme and I felt my sympathy for the characters turn to frustration and just way too much “sad”. Just my opinion.

Great Read!
I normally don’t read books like this, but the reviews were great. I am so glad I did. The story was well written and both narrators were outstanding! The book dealt with serious family issues. The ending had an interesting twist, which I never saw coming. Thank you Abby Jimenez, for the story and the research you put into it. Highly recommended. RJS

My new God Tier top contender.
I knew this was going to be a five star read from less than 5% into the story. Emma’s story is just… sadly, so relatable. The Q&A at the end actually had me crying again. Abby Jimenez is my all time favorite author and this book will forever hold a special place in my heart. Also— a thorough round of applause for the narrators of this story. Zachary Webber is one I’ve enjoyed for years and Christine Lakin is phenomenal and I want to experience more from her ASAP.

Sweet Rom Com with Great Storyline
Absolutely loved this book. Reminded me a lot of “It Ends With Us” because of the great character development and themes of trauma and mental health (although not as heavy).
Actors performance was fantastic. All the characters were really well fleshed out and everything was tied up with a nice bow at the end. I haven’t read (listened) to a book this good for a while and am definitely going to be checking out other titles from this author.

Magically she writes a sweet, fast paced light romance with hidden life lessons.
The world needs this author right now. Magically she writes a sweet, fast paced light romance with hidden life lessons that are so relatable in a post 2020 world we live in. Jimenez’s warm heart and writing skill becomes more and more evident with each book she writes! I’ve read them all and am a lifelong fan💜

Abby Jimenez Never Disappoints!
Yet again Abby wrote a hilarious yet emotionally relatable book! I’ve never related to fictional characters more than I’ve related to Abby’s characters. I love how she ties in characters from her previous books so we can keep up with where they are now.
Also personally being from the Twin Cities area all of the references, locations and Easter eggs are SPOT ON and make all of her books even more relatable and seriously the inspiration for The Toilet King billboards…well if you know you know and you understand how true and hilarious it really is!
