I would hoping book 2 is better. I have to think if I would give it a chance.
Kate and Jay want nothing more than to focus on their love. But as Kate settles in to a new profession, she and Jay become caught up in the middle of a deadly scheme - pawns in a larger game in which the stakes are nothing less than control of the country.

Now, for the story....I LOVED the first book in the series. This one, not so much. I found it dry and boring, with just enough mystery to keep the story going and to keep me reading. But unless I see raving reviews for the next book in the series, I'm not likely to get it. « Show Less
