I bought this audio because Jeremy York and Summer Morton are two of my favorite narrators. They did their best with what they had to work with, but s..Show More »adly for me it wasn't enough for me to love this book. One of the biggest things for me was the lack of chremistry, I just didn't feel it. At the beginning her husband is a thorn in her side and I guess I expected for him to be a bigger problem than he was. The ending wrapped up too quickly and certain things weren't brought up, for example her mothers situation. Lily was also very forgiving for the whole "I was trying to forget you" scene at the end. Another thing that drove me crazy was the dialogue. Too many he said, she said, I said, that drove me a little nutty. With that said I did like Josh. He needs absolute control in his life and by the end I understood why. I liked the banter with his friends and they were very likeable characters. Lili's character was harder to connect with and understand and not developed as much as Josh. Overall I liked the story but didn't fall in love with it.
Female narration-4.5 stars, French accent needed a bit of work.
Male narration-5 stars
Both narrators are great at voicing different characters.
