There is such a thing as a well developed very short story. This isn't it. There is possibly a good idea here. However the world building is cut & pa..Show More »ste and the story line jumps abruptly and seems to contradict itself. The romance and sex/erotica are major plot points but are all implied. There are also lots of editing & grammar issues. The narration wasn't horrible, but reading the mistakes as written didn't do anyone any favors.
Not worth a credit! Even on sale I don't think there is any point in spending $ on it Unless you are REALLY into 'sort of' Cinderella stories where the M/M bear shifters can get pregnant [but don't] after very little plot or romance or sex or anything, but are finally rescued from 'the pit' which is actually a three story building named 'the rosebud'.
This isn't actually a second book in the series. It is a rewrite of the hot mess that is "Werebear: Trace: Hunted MM Bears, Book 1". ..Show More »> The Only reason I even gave this a chance is because the new narrator, Craig Beck, did such an EXCELLENT job w/ Indra Vaughn's M/M romance "Patchwork Paradise".
The basic story is still the same, but it has been expanded and most of the plot holes mended. There are still some issues w/ mating heat/pregnancy, but the story flows now. The characters and their world are much better developed. The improved narration helps as well.
This is a HUGE improvement over Werebear: Trace & a sweet little story now
