Erica ends up coming off as overdramatic and ungrateful and Blake is neither here nor there. Summing it up: Dull version of the same "controlling millionaire falls for smart, independent girl" story you've all read oh so many times.
There were several aspects of this book that I didn't care for. After a while the main character's refusal to talk to her boy friend and running away ..Show More »gets old. I wasn't into the dominance sexuality where the woman wants to be submissive in the bed room and be punished for her mistakes. She is otherwise too strong a woman to make this convincing. The final twist in the story was particularly unbelievable.

Thus, I returned the book because I can't get through this one much less the two more after it. It such a shame because I really dislike not finishing a series.

Clearly I've listened to all the others in this series- so was interested to see what happened with this love story. But I just found myself so distracted and disengaged bc of the male narrator. Brutal.
