I had to steel my mind from returning the audio book immediately. I kept hoping that it would improve as it went along. It did not. Her performance felt more like she was delivering lines. At no point, did I feel like I was experiencing the story. I actually checked thru my library and the listing to make sure, I did not have anything else with that narrator's voice.I am going to have to purchase the print version to truly appreciate the The Reaper and the Cop: Liberty, Oakwood Series, Book 1 story line.« Show Less
