Going into "Ghost Girl: The Wild Hunt" I knew some about it, but didn't know enough, so everything was a nice surprise. Honestly, I have to say I like..Show More »d it a lot. The way the story played out make me think of the old Pulp Stories from the 20s to the many Gothic paperbacks that I've read. Two things that I even write myself and enjoy to read. I think that's why I liked this book so much. It's hard not too especially, when you have the Holzer family involved. It's a mix of terror, excitement, and if anyone finds this boring, then they weren't listening to the same program. I know my genres like this and this "Ghost Gal" series is something I want to see more of. After listening to it, I'm going to have to pick up a hard copy! The story flows nicely, it involves a wicked ghost named "The Slaugh," and it's a good read that is fast paced. I think that's what made it's good, it gets to the point, but also doesn't feel too rushed either. It's about a family of ghost hunters, that are might fight a powerful Scottish legend. So in other words, honestly surprised and happy to have gotten the chance to listen to the book. It might helped that I was listening to the story on a foggy Monday afternoon. Though the book gives you enough details that you could listen to it on a sunny day.
