This started out pretty good when Mallory left college and came home to take care of her ailing father. She had reservations because she didn't want ..Show More »to run into her ex-boyfriend Luke. Very quickly the story went south. I was confused the entire time about who was talking as there were no voice inflections to differentiate from Mallory or Luke or their friends. Along with that, the story strayed way off into left field for me.
There really wasn't much going on other than night after night of going to the local bar 'The Landing' and getting drunk and leaving poor old dad to fend for himself which according to the publisher's summary should have had some role in the story.
About the narrator: My thoughts are that Emily Lindsay has a good voice and just needs to work out some of the audio techniques and issues such as giving the characters different voices and frequently repeating lines.
