Alucius, the hero of the story, is one such person. In Legacies we saw how he grew from a Talented child on a lonely Nightsheep ranch in the Iron Valleys to a proficient soldier who used his wits and his Talent to become the first to escape military enslavement in the neighboring country of Madrien.

    Another great Modesitt Novel. He has a great way of pulling you into his stories. You become connected to the characters to the characters

    Loved it!!

    I think this one is my favorite of the series!! Kyle is awesome and never disappoints with his narration.

    Another great story. They just keep coming. This author has a style above and beyond the normal.
