a good story with an admirable heroine, more than one villain to hate, and an ending I could live with. and I did not have to sacrifice language, mora..Show More »ls, or any other solid values. I would read more from this author and narrator, definitely!
I really enjoyed this sequel to The Governess of Highland Hall. The story kept my interest throughout. The narrator is great with almost every aspect ..Show More »except her male voices. Unfortunately her male voices are all scratchy and sound like old men, and sometimes it is difficult to discern which male is speaking. However, she has a great talent with reading with excitement and the correct tones and inflections, so she is still a top narrator I'm now moving on to book 3.
