I admit that Book 1 was strong enough to keep me on the line and buy Book 2 in the series....but this is where I make my exit.
To make it thr..Show More »ough a series, and keep interest in developments and all the details that are necessary...its important to make at least one of the major characters LIKABLE. In the Epicurean series Cat is too stupid to believe. And "William" doesn't have any redeeming characteristics at all. He's flat, one-sided, too simplistic. What is there does not encourage sympathy, empathy, or any other -pathy. Sorry...can't make it through. Uncle.
I have been waiting for this book for weeks. I finally get it-listen to it and it ends the way it ends! Ugh I am assuming there will be a 4th in this ..Show More »series. There was no epilogue to imply there was a true HEA. You can assume that but not the way the book ended. What the?????? How long will I have to wait for the next book? It was a good story frustrating at times because of Williams possessiveness and his withdrawal when things get tough. Catherine's denial about her alleged pregnant? I didn't like Hutches interference, I thought he would drive a wedge between W & C but it turns out he seems to be I love with Zoey? Go figure maybe book 4 or possible book 5. I enjoyed the performance as usual. I liked the story it's just that this book seemed too short and ended cliffhanger ish? Worth the credits I suppose. Hurry Sorcha give us another book.
