Marshmallow! Seriously, that's all I can say after that ending! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started One Week Girlfriend but the crazy twists, ..Show More »secrets and romance made me unable to stop listening. This book is intense, gritty, emotional and at times completely devastating! But it’s also a beautiful story about two lost souls finding each other, and I absolutely loved it! The beginning sucked me in, Drew and Fable both needed each other in ways they didn't even imagine. The characters Drew and Fable are both damaged and have a troubled past. Drew is a hunky football player with a lot of secrets. Fable is townie who works at a local bar to provide for her 13 year old brother & alcoholic mother. When Drew offers her a larger check to pretend to be his girlfriend during a week-long trip home for Thanksgiving, she agrees. What starts out as a fake relationship slowly turns into romance. This story was twisted, torturous while also portraying a true romantic love story! Drew and Fable had some major HOT chemistry!!! There are many twists in this book, many of which you can predict fairly early in the story. Regardless, I still enjoyed this book. I am really looking forward to the next part of Drew and Fable's story. I believe this book would be categorized under the "New Adult Romance" genre.

This is a spin off from the Drew & Fable series...
Three Broken Promises is a spin off of two characters in the Drew + Fable series. The first two books, I enjoyed a lot. I was looking forward to learn..Show More »ing about Jen & Colin's story after being introduced to them in the previous books. This book wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as the first two books. Colin was best friends with Jen's brother Danny. They've know each other since they're kids. When Danny died Jen become desperate to move away and escape from all the grief suffering. She was forced to do things in order to survive on her own. Colin lost touch when Jen left home after her brother's death. Colin had promised her brother that he would look out for her. Colin finds her and brings her back to live with him and work in his restaurant. Colin tries everything to deny his feelings toward her. She wants more and she wants it with Colin except for the fact he won't get over feeling guilty over her brother's death and it was not even his fault. This was the reason she left her home in the first place. She's giving him a month to get his act together and realize what they have. If not, she's leaving and never looking back. This is basically a story about two very broken people. They both harbor a lot of guilt over things they have done. Overall, there was a bit of angst, some sexual tension and a few nicely written sex scenes .The chemistry between Jen & Colin was crazy hot!
