While the story is good and well written, it 's too short and the ending left one hanging. I actually went back to make sure I'd downloaded the whole..Show More » thing. So in the end it was disappointing, all I could think was WHAT? Because of this it was only worth 1/2 a credit.
Another fantastic installment! I really love this series. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves epic fantasy. This book is just as great as th..Show More »e first and second book in the series (read my other reviews of the 1st and 2nd books for more information). Again, I do wish it was longer (I always feel I'm wasting a credit if the book isn't at least 20 hours long) and the cliffhangers leave me wanting more NOW and I hate waiting for the next book to be published on Audible.
This series has turned in to a mediocre romp through an generic world with stereotypical characters. Everything that has happened in the last few boo..Show More »ks has been completely predictable. The character sometimes follow their stereotypes so closely that it adds a touch of unintentional humor.
Evil king is evil. Both of them. Thor's friends blindly follow him anywhere he goes. EVERYONE dies from throat related injuries. Honestly, is that the only place people in this world aim? You could turn it in to a drinking game.
Poor Eric has to deal with the worst people ever born. How many times does a girl need to be sold to inform us he loves her? And why do 3 weeks pass in his life while a year has passed for everyone else?
This isn't a bad series, not by any means. It's just not good. Wayne Farrell does a good job though.
