I will listen to her again. I really liked it. She did well combining the differenent characters from previous 'lives' to bring them all together at..Show More » a certain place and time. DID NOT see the ending coming at all....which I love in a good mystery! Well done Ms. Jackson.
This book was very good. The only problem I had with it was when I got to part 2, the chapters were out of order. I listened for a while thinking I ..Show More »had missed something, but when I got to the end of the book and there were still 3 hours left, I realized the chapters were off. I'm now listening to the missing chapters, which are out of order also. I have to keep flipping around to find the right order. It's not easy.
This is the best book i've read in awhile. This is not my normal type of book but if you like the paranormal. Couldn't hardly wait till the end, but r..Show More »eally didn't want it to. The closer I got to the end the more I started guessing about who did it. BOY was I surprised I was no where close.
I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about! This book is terrific - I even recommended it to my husband. It keeps your attention, and th..Show More »e best part is it's narrated by two people - a man and a woman. I don't know why more audio books don't do that - it's much more realistic. Anyway, I've listened to 100's of books on Audible - and this one well worthwhile.
I'm afraid this book was a struggle to listen to, although no fault is attached to the reader. The blame lies squarely at the feet of the author, who ..Show More »appears to have thought she was writing a take-off of a gothic novel. The writing was full of so many examples of over-dramatisation that it's impossible to pick just one on which to comment. The story held just enough twists to keep me listening to the end, but I'm afraid that there is no way I could recommend this book to anyone with a love of the English language.
