I often base my audible choices on listener comments.
I'm happy I decided to IGNORE the one person who said they disliked..Show More » the narrator. (See Claimed by the Highlander: Highlander Series #2 reviews, same narrator)
I've heard bad narrators, and Antony Ferguson IS NOT a bad narrator! I suggest that people should make their own decision based on the excerpt that can heard in the book sample, and not base their decision on what one person wrote in a review. (This suggestion is for me as well as everyone else) And I'd like to see that reviewer, from Texas, who probably has a Southern drawl, try to narrate a whole novel with different accents from Scotland and England!
Story: Well thought-out story. Really had a hard time putting down my earphones with this one. I didn't give it five stars because, for me, the story has to be exceptional to receive that mark. That said, it was totally worth my credit! And hot!
Again, I appreciate all the work an author goes to in writing a book. However; do they bother to listen to their work once the narrator has completed ..Show More »it??!! Audio books is a huge venue for income for these authors! Please, take as diligent time choosing someone to read your book as you do in writing them! I will NOT buy another one of Julianne MacLean's books anywhere on audio if done by Antony Ferguson. And I'm but one person. However; these audio books are review by the customer and I for one pay close attention to what is written before I spend my money. I rather believe others do as well. Just saying~~~~~Pay Attention.
As the third book of the series I felt it was worth listening to. It followed the other two books well and led the listener into the life of another c..Show More »haracter but kept him connected to the others and brought them all back around in the end. Well done.
