In this installment, we learn more about the influence of preternaturals; Professor Lyall continues to suffer in silence, and Major Channing Channing of the Chesterfield Channings makes quite an impression. While I know cliffhangers are frustrating, the cliffhanger in Changeless does not detract from the fact that this is a wonderful book and a phenomenal series. But to truly enjoy this series, it is important to read or listen to the books in order. So, catch-up, because Heartless, the fourth book, is coming out on July 1, 2011. As always, Emily Gray is brilliant!

Unfortunately, the entire reading was ruined by the incredibly long gaps between..Show More » chapters, odd pacing (really slow at times and normal at others), and irregular unexpected pauses between sentences. It seemed as though the narrator recorded random sentences and paragraphs in separate sittings, which were then pieced together. The amount of dead space between every single chapter was so weirdly long that a few times I thought the book had ended. How did this production get a 'pass'?

I love her and even my ..Show More »60 year old mom who hates Vampires loves all the books start with Soulless and then continue to Changeless then Blameless and now Heartless. Emily Gray is one of the best narrators out there. The only downside to this novel is that I have to wait until March to find out what happens next.
