I didn't love this story and found some of the characters to be irritating stereotypes (the mean girls at school). Overall, it was a decent attempt, but could have been better. While I enjoyed the story, I won't listen to the next in the series.

The first 20 min continued with Lena and Ethan fighting their feelings and then an enormous chasm opens with new characters, supernatural beings, and other worlds followed through tunnels beneath the Caster Library, creating a jumbled mess. Peripheral characters receive too much time, revealing how uninteresting they truly are and takes attention away from the main focal point. The last 10 minutes finally brought the young lovers back together, but also set up a new problem for further books; those I will not read.

Beautiful Choas was even better than the two previous Beautifuls. It was neatly written and emotionally captivating! Kevin T. I almost choked on my own tears several times while listening to it, and I dare you not to cry. This series has always been dark and depressing, yet not doubt Beautiful. The end caught me by surprise and left me painfully haning. I can't wait to read the last book!
