Since many of the characters show up in both, it's just weird having completely different voices and having words pronounced wrong.
I read the book when it first came out, and I was excited when I saw that it is now available in audiobook form, but I will continue to just read the Dorina series and listen to the Cassie series because of the narrators.
Anyways, it is a great series if you are a fan of the Cassie Palmer series. You get to learn more about some of the smaller characters. Dorina is kind of mentioned in the last Cassie book.

I enjoyed this book more than the first, possibly because I already had a background of some of the characters and this had more twists and turns in the story line. Like I've said not a Loral Hamilton, nor Kim Harrison, but something enjoyable and different none the less.

The book is good but confusing at times it jumps around with out notice and sometimes you have to rewind because you think you have missed something. She may have noticed this because at the end she took a while to explain exactly what happened then your like ohhhhh ok I get it. So again the book is good you just have to pay close attention and maybe rewind a few times to try to keep up.
