What a pleasant surprise! This story deconstructs flawed Christians, people with SERIOUS issues, not goody-too-shoe, "holier than thou" folks. It tells of their shortcomings and growth. In some ways, it helped me appreciate the real power of forgiveness, salvation and God's love for us despite our wrongdoings. The narrator was AMAZING with her range of voices and the author's storytelling was SUPERB. Thank you for giving us an entertaining production.

I would not recommend this as a listen for anyone. Gwen Hughes was not a good fit for the narration of this novel and because of it, I'm considering getting my credit back. I have enjoyed all of the other Curtis Black novels and have decided to try another avenue to read this book.
