I'm new to this series and so happy I found it! It was interesting right from the start. It not only had sexy parts, but also ones that made me laugh..Show More » out loud or anxious to see what was about to happen next. I will definitely be listening to the rest of the series.
Like witches? Werecats? Vampires? How about trolls, fairies, unicorns and dragons? this series has them all in a really fun and exciting story I could..Show More »n't put down. Can't wait for the next installment -- Yasmine Galenorn get's better with every book, and so does the reader.
This series grabbed me and now I can't wait for the next book to be released by Audible. I also enjoyed the narrator, but the best part are all of the..Show More » magical characters that emerge over the 4 book series. While I usually enjoy a well written sex scene, the scenes in the first book felt awkward. Fortunately, the author realized where her strengths lie (tee hee). The series stays sexy without the graphic stuff -- and only gets better as it develops. More please.

Ever since the fourth book ended I was waiting for the fifth book to come out. I was so happy when I did the "Yasmine Galenorn" search for the um-teen..Show More »th time that I saw a new book had been put out on audio format. The forth book left me on edge to find out what was going to happen to the D' Artigo sister's lives. This book is worth the credit, it leaves off a couple of months after the last book. I suggest reading all books to fully understand the series. There are plenty of character developments to keep the reader interested, full of great Other World experiences to keep it exciting. I love Maggie and how she is growing.
This book spends too much time going over the sisters' histories needlessly. It seems like the author didn't have enough to make the book long enough ..Show More »so she just reiterated information we already knew about the characters.
Harvest Hunting continues Delilahs Story. I enjoyed Delilah's POV ..The plots are weaved together creating a series of events that keeps the pace flow..Show More »ing really well. Delilah as we know is a werecat shifter that is usually very emotional and gets overwhelmed very quickly, Well she totally comes out of her shell in Harvest Hunting. Not only is there tons of action there is tons of change. Delilah finally starts training to be a death maiden and she also gets a great look into her destiny with the Death Maidens and the Autumn lord and comes to terms with it. In the previous book, after a huge battle with their enemies, the girls had to give Chase, Delilah's human love interest, the Nectar of Life to save his life. Unfortunately, it also made him not-so-human, adding hundreds of years to his lifespan and sparking his latent psychic powers. He's not dealing so well with the sudden changes and breaks it off with Delilah. I was sad Chase and Delilah broke up, but by the end of the book it was put to rights. Shade, a shadow dragon, comes to be Delilah's new love interest, sent by the Autumn Lord. I loved Shade and can't wait to find out more about him. I have enjoyed reading all the stories of the D'Artigo sisters and am looking forward to what comes next.
I love these sisters and their crazy life, this book was filled with scary details and dangerous jobs, but in this book it was totally off track of th..Show More »eir goal.....finding the sprit seals & destorying Shadow Wing, nothing advanced since the last book, which was disappointing some.
I kinda thought this was going to be the last book on the Moon Sisters but it seems to me theres just have to be more, at least I hope there will be, because these are great books and the narrator is wonderful....
The Otherworld Series is Unique as the books are consecutively narrated by one of 3 half human, half fairy sisters. Camille is a witch, Delilah is a..Show More » were cat and Menoly is a vampire. It is easy to pick one sister as your favorite, and one as your least favorite. My least favorite has always been Camille. But this book shook that up. Camille is the strongest out of the 3 sisters, and it usually falls upon her to shoulder some of both of her sister’s burdens. While this book is still action packed, we see a vulnerability in Camille that we have not seen before. It shows that even the strongest of us can shatter, and need some help collecting the pieces. We also learn a lot about Smoky's own vulnerabilities. We learn of his past, and how he became the man/dragon he is now. And we get to meet his parents! The narrator, Cassandra Campbell is wonderful as always! She can sound gentle and feminine one minute, and gruff, angry and very masculine the next. She can portray elated passion as well as crushing misery. You have to read these books in order, the first is Witchling. Yasmine Galenorn is a writer that makes her story flow like music, and Cassandra Campbell performs it beautifully.
alot...its the same story as the other books, I am so over these sisters, they do the same thing in each book just different wording, this book was di..Show More »sapointing, I was so hoping Ms. Galenorn would get bolder with the sisters, bring in new dangers, more action in this book.
I really enjoy this series but my least favorite books are told from Menolly's perspective. Even when she is "happy", she is depressed. Cassandra Ca..Show More »mpbell gives another good performance. I am looking forward to the next story in the series, since this one is a real cliffhanger.
Although I have LOVED this series for a long time, I'm sad to say I have not been to happy with the last two books. I can't even pinpoint why I was di..Show More »sappointed, the characters are still strong and the family ties are even stronger but I just didn't feel the need to listen to it again to see what I might have missed. Which I have done for many of the previous books. I would actually listen to the latest book then go back and re-listen to the series up to the new book to enjoy it all over again. The last few however left me feeling sadly disappointed and/or disgusted and traumatised over what had happened to my favorite characters.
What I love best about every book in the series so far is that each book focuses on one particular sister, even though touching on all of them and all..Show More » the characters they are involved with. Menolly seems to be coming to terms with who she is and accepting her place in the world after being turned into a vampire in a very horrific way. (with scars on her skin, and internal scars that she'll never forget) It seems in this book she has come to terms with what happened and now has evolved to carry on to help fight the war in OtherWorld
