Rather t..Show More »han the shoot 'em up, sex and drug stories so many modern ones are these seem to be of a kinder, gentlre nature. As they say in the preface of these stores, they are of the human spirit, maybe that's why, if you believe in the goodness of it. This one is the seond in a trilogy with the first being "The Secret" By the end of this story you have a good idea of what's going to happen in the third book but you want to listen to it anyway to see how it all plays out. Are these the most exciting books I've ever listened to? No. But I can't wait for the final one, "The Telling"!

I had some ideas on how I thought it would go but it was completely different than what I anticipated. Still, it was the end to a good story by the author. I don't know that I would call it exciting, sometimes it seemed even slow getting through some of the different situations. Still, if you made it through the first two stories, you'll want to listen to this one as well. A story of the human spirit, yes it is, and if you like that type of story, you'll like this one.
