I read this book first on my Kindle, loved it and had to get the second on right away! Soon, my teenage daughter had to read a book with foreign infl..Show More »uence for her English class, but she was paired with 3 guys who didn???t want the sappy love stories; they wanted action. I recommended this book (it has both and would make everyone happy). To my surprise I ended up getting 5 copies of the book because the guys fell in love with the book and were excited to finish reading the book as fast as they could. Then they had to read the second book too???they fought over the Kindle version just to read it. This is a great book and I love all the attention to detail, makes you want to go and see all the places described.
Big-Time Quest Adventure and Heartbreaking Emotion
I enjoyed this engrossing, travel-filled adventure as the set up to the next installment. Filled with not only the fights and quests of the character..Show More »s, but so much emotion and conflict between them. I appreciated the way Kelsey grew and matured a bit. She did not "change her mind" as often as I was afraid she might. The writing is good, with the exception of one notable scene that seemed too prolonged. We are left with a bit of a cliffhanger, definitely keeping you waiting for the next book, especially if you are a fan. The narration by Annika Boras is very good!
Have really enjoyed this 4th installment in the Tigers Curse series. The story line builds beautifully from one book to the next and leaves you wantin..Show More »g more. I am in my 40's and even though this is considered a YA book, I truely find it enjoyable. It is not filled with typical "teenage" dilemmas or angst. Excellent story line filled with wonderful history/myths of India. I would recommend book/series for any age.
