While I like the stories and her sense of humor, I am debating whether or not to continue the series. I read a note from the author somewhere else that thanks to her readers she now can wear the expensive shoes the main character loves, perhaps she needs a new protagonist instead of resting on her laurels. I will have to support another up and coming author who knows how to respect her audience, instead of bragging to them about how she went from struggling to pay her bills to being able to wear Jimmy Choo's. Get your priorities straight and give your readers their moneys worth.

I have been a Betsy fan from Book 1, and I did enjoy this one - although I will agree with other reviewers that it is quite short.

In pre..Show More »vious books, I always felt that there were multiple storylines going on, some resolved early, and some that lasted the "length" of the book. I felt that this book had only two storylines, both of which were resolved "early". :)

Short, but still good - I waited until I had a $10 credit to pick it up, since it was only 4-5 hours long.

I've listened to all of this series.....some have been better than others. This one has taken a lot of flack review-wise on Amazon. I have to agree ..Show More »with most of what is being said: Betsy seems more dumb and oblivious than ever. Although I did like the time travel elements of the story. The ending is shocking; a complete 180 in what you expect from this series. I really feel this is half a book, it ends at the peak of the plot-line. Unfinished is part of the title and I guess I should have taken that as a warning. I'm sure I would not have been so disappointed if I had the next in the series (i.e. the other half of this book) to read immediately after finishing this one. It's not like this book ends with a cliff-hanger so that you cant wait for the next one. It just stops, there isn't an ending. So my recommendation is to wait until next July and read the two together.....you'll be less pissed off that way.

Its book 10 and the character show no growth, she still self centered, never listens, and complains constantly. I would have thought by now the author would have given her a little more depth then what she has. Also this book spent alot of time telling us things that happened in the previous books which was completely unnecessary. This will be my last Besty book which i hate to say, but her character no longer interest me. I wish the author would have spent more time in developing her character into someone who has learn from her previous mistakes and come out a little smarter and stronger because of that fact instead of all the dumb and totally unnecessary commentary that fills this book.

I still listened to this non-stop which, for me, is a good thing. I like the original Laura and didn't care for the direction the books are taking with her character. I also thought Sinclair was turning into a wimp. On the plus side, I liked the way the major issue was resolved. I hope Ms Davidson continues to bring the series back up to her earlier standards.
