Seeing how the story never seems to end I doubt I will continue with the series.

Perhaps knowing that it will go on for several more volumes but this is a double edged sword as I don‘t want it to end and yet I want to see the climax.
Would like to know more about this universe that Hemry has created. How did the Syndic empire come to be, how did the alliance. Where is Earth in all this? Is this an alternate universe or this one, far in the future?
The reader, Christian Rummel is great. He does female voices very well and accents as well. Very believable. At first I thought only Scott Brick could do justice to this series but Rummel grows on you and you realize he is into this story and a very good actor. Cannot wait for the 4th in this series in June. I might have to buy the hardcover.

If you like hard science fiction in the great tradition then this series Worth every penny.

This is one of my favorite series and I look forward to see how the fleet will get back home. I guess you could criticize some of the redundancies fo..Show More »und throughout this series (such as the retelling of Black Jacks 100 years in the freezer, or the delays caused by the limits to the speed of light, etc.) but I guess if you didn't include them, readers of later books, who did not read earlier books would complain. I also enjoy the interplay between the main characters and the voices provided to them by the narrator. If you like honorable heroes (like I sometimes do) you will like these books, if not, you might not. Enjoy!

I couldn't believe when I saw that this had been released. The previous book in the series (Relentless) was published barely a year ago. I downloaded ..Show More »this on a friday night and I was done listening to it by monday evening.

You need to get these books in order or this book will not make any sense. Here is the order:
Dauntless
Fearless
Courageous
Valiant
Relentless
Victorious.

Christian Rummel is probably the best reader I have ever heard. He switches characters so well that it's a pleasure to listen for the reader's skill as much as the author's.

I cannot recommend this serious enough.
