I like most works by Lawhead and this was was entertaining. Not as good as the Pendragon series, but still entertaining. Had a flowery old english s..Show More »tyle which isn't my favorite - a little too pomp for me. This would be a good book for kids, not too stressful, move a long, and has decent action.
NO. It had a pretty good story, but the author is obsessed with adding god to everything. He believes in god that is great. However, every other line ..Show More »is the god on high. Limit this to a couple of times a book and this book is 5 stars.
A brilliant conclusion to the Hall of the Dragon King trilogy, Stephen Lawhead' s first fantasy series. Nimrood is back, after he used his dark magic..Show More » to put his soul into a raven to escape death. Now he is human and stirring up trouble in Mensandor. First he convinces the priests to turn against the Dragon King, and rouse the people against him. He kidnaps King Quentin' s son Gerin, and as a result Quentin loses his faith and his sword, which was put into his hands by the High Lord. A great book, a great series and well narrated by Tim Gregory.
