I cant explain how much i loved the book, the story was very well written, and the cast was excellent. I wish that the other 2 books following were on..Show More » audio cd, because i would have definitly purchased those, but i have read book 4 and 5 and wasnt disappointed!!!
I highly recommend Ms robys' books
Love & Lies was truly a "piece of work". Apparently this story is part of a series, however it's not necessary that you read the previous books. The ..Show More »narrarator pulled me right on in and the writer had me cracking up. I found myself talking to my iPod trying to offer advice. If you want something to make you laugh, yet is filled with drama - this is the book for you.
Shame on me for not doing my reseach, but I knew I'd read this author's work before. What I didn't realize is that this book continues a storyline fro..Show More »m 2 others I've enjoyed. What a pleasant surprise! This story deconstructs flawed Christians, people with SERIOUS issues, not goody-too-shoe, "holier than thou" folks. It tells of their shortcomings and growth. Overall, an enjoyable read. At times, I found it hard to put this book down!. Definitely worth the read!
I'm glad I don't know anyone who is as conniving and low-down as this. It's hard to feel sorry for Charlotte at all. She's been such a self-centered, ..Show More »childish, manipulative, cut-throat, black-hearted trollop. Maybe the purpose of this book was to let Rev. Curtis Black have a taste of the same bitter medicine he's been dosing out to his wives over the years. They're all too old to be doing the foolish things they do ... especially as leaders of a church. I didn't like this sick, twisted story, but the author and the narrator did a good job of letting it unfold slowly.
