It's the first day of school and I know it's going to be epic! My name is Z, Z the zombie. I'm starting middle school this September, and I have no idea what the next few weeks will have in store for me. I have a funny feeling that my older brother, R, will try to cause some problems for me, but I'm going to try not to let it get me down. After all, I have my skeleton friend, Bonnie, and my zombie pigman friend, Trevor, to help me out of any hard spots that I might land myself into. Who knows? I might even make another friend.
The entire spooky set. Meet Z, the young zombie who never quite fit into the monster crowd. In this series, Z grapples with adventure in these action packed books.
Hi, my name is Z, and I'm a zombie. This month is Halloween, so I'm ready to be scary and hear some screams! The first month of school has been going pretty well for me, and I'm looking forward to this month even more. Humans usually spend only one day to celebrate this great holiday. BUT! A monster like me and my friends treat it a little differently. For a monster, the whole month of October is one big Halloween celebration, with a big party on the last day.
When monsters celebrate Christmas, it's time to wreck the halls. It's Christmas - time to party, and fun-loving young zombie Z is not about to disappoint! Z, monster friends Trevor and Bonnie, and human boy Steve are ready to cut loose, have fun, and feast on loads of pizza. Z isn't completely off the clock though. His classmates are waiting for his next piece in the school newspaper, and Z isn't about to disappoint them either.
Graagghhh ! Meet your Minecraft zombie, Steve. Beware! He's tall, green, and out to scare! Zombie Steve is on his way to meet up with some of his friends when he hears what sounds like a little child laughing. It just got dark outside, and no human in their right mind would be out, much less a child. When Steve investigates, he finds a tiny villager - a child named Beep. Beep is lost but doesn't have enough sense to be afraid of anything!

Steve's new job has doomed him! He wakes up on a desert island in the daylight, with a bad sunburn. He can't find any signs of life anywhere - not even a tree! Steve happens upon a half-buried temple, but quickly discovers it's booby-trapped and someone is living in it. Can he survive the booby traps and find this mysterious temple resident? Will he be able to find a way back home? Will his terrible sunburn ever heal?
Lewis has discovered a new love! He loves being outdoors in the daytime, and so takes advantage of it whenever he can. Stories about a secret hidden treasure had appeared in the zombie underground city, and Lewis decided that he and Sebastian should go and attempt to find it.
Lewis has never been to school before. His best friend, Sebastian, talks him into coming to his school. So he joins the fifth grade at Golden Apple Elementary. He's not entirely surprised when most of the kids think he is weird, being a zombie and all, but he tries not to let it bother him.
Lewis the zombie villager is a pretty average student. He does pretty well in math, and he understands English class. But one day, in science, when they experiment with baking in class, Lewis discovers a secret talent that he never knew he had; cooking! Everyone is very impressed with him, and the local newspaper and news crew come to make a show based on Lewis and his talents.
Viv is trying to start a new zombie café (her special dish is Gravel Grits in Mud Gravy), but no one wants to try eating someplace new. Their main competition is a restaurant with awful, awful food (they serve the same food people eat!) but good entertainment. Steve tries to help out in any way he can and discovers quite a few things that he isn't good at. Will he uncover a hidden talent he can use to help Viv out, or is he good only at scaring people?
