Hiring and firing, for instance; reading people; identifying nonproducers; cutting expenses; knowing what your customers need; and, most of all, growing your business. It doesn't tell you how to start a business, yet listening to it will make doing that so much easier. It doesn't tell you how to run one, but even if you've been a COO for 30 years, you'll find new wisdom in it.
