It was Cassie’s 21st birthday, and she had her friends over to celebrate her special day. Her friends had brought her a birthday cake, ice cream and lots of presents. They had been celebrating since the early evening. It was getting close to midnight now and Cassie and her friends were feeling a little buzzed from the wine coolers they had been drinking. Daryl had bought Cassie an Ouija Board for her birthday. Cassie had always wanted one, but had never gotten around to buying one for herself.
Rachel was standing in front of her closet trying to decide what to wear. Gavin had slid out from under the bed and quietly walked up behind Rachel. He grabbed her around the throat with his arm and had her in a choke hold. He pressed the knife against her cheek and told her that if she screamed, he would slash her throat. She was terrified and listened to what he had said. He walked her over to her windows and closed them.
I was born on February 14, 1970 at 5:35 a.m. My mother was pronounced dead at 5:37 a.m. Women had not achieved equality with men in any country. Four students at Kent State University in Ohio were killed by National Guardsmen at a protest about American incursion into Cambodia.
He turned the warlock around and looked him straight in the eyes as the warlock began to bleed to death. “You suffered unto my wife and child and now you must pay the price.” The warlock looked into Nico’s eyes pleadingly.
I was exhausted and hungry. I went to the cafeteria in the college and ate some food. It was German food of course, sausages, cheese, bread and fruit. I wasn't sure what the other dishes were, so I stuck to what looked edible for my taste. I sat at a table by myself and several moments later a male student sat next to me and introduced himself as Frans. I introduced myself as well. Trying to use the best German accent I had been taught in German class. My teacher would have been proud, because it worked!
Since Python never carried a gun, Martin was able to swoop down and wrestle Python to the floor. He wasn't expecting the strength that Python had. It came as a surprise to Martin. But, not as surprising as Python was at the strength this old man had. Python was impressed. Python threw some blows to Martin and Martin threw some punches back, knocking Python on his ass. "Damn!" Python said as he was wiping the blood from his split lip that Martin had given him. "You're a strong bastard for an old man."
On the days he would miss a feeding, he would age a little. Over centuries of time, the accusation of missed feedings had given him his old age appearance. And in a way, he liked it. He liked looking old. Most people don't bother an old man who lives alone. Besides, when he was younger-looking, it reminded him too much of happier times and his beloved Amelia.
Richard began to look around Martin's house. He noticed that all the photographs and paintings were very old and there were none that were less than one hundred years old. Richard's throat began to get dry and he needed something to drink like a glass of water or something. Martin was sitting on the sofa trying to figure out what was going on and had his head in his hands. He didn't notice Richard go into the kitchen and open the cupboard and take out a wine glass.
"Hi, my name is Cassandra, my grandmother is crazy, I wear nothing but black clothing these days… oh yeah, did I forget to mention the fact that I am carrying on the family business? What? Oh no… my dad never owned a bakery or flower shop… No, my father is in the killing business. Yep, that’s right, he kills people for a living. What? Yeah, I think I may be carrying on his legacy.” I am so confused right now. I am also angry as all hell at my grandmother. That crazy God-loving witch is going to pay for this some day. I’ll figure out something later.
