I'd been walking for what felt like forever and had not found another soul. Was I the only one left? And really, what was the point if I were? And why had I survived?
I couldn't resist putting together all those little ideas that have popped into my mind, then out onto paper as the years have flown. Most have fallen by the wayside into the history bin of "oh my," but some stayed, and here they are.
