In her effort to be "fairest in the land", a jealous and evil queen attempts to be rid of her beautiful stepdaughter, Snow White. When she escapes, she takes refuge in the seaforest cottage of the seven hermit crabs.
The Ugly Duckling tells the tale of a duckling abandoned and deserted because he was different. The Selfish Giant focuses on a garden surrounding a castle occupied by a giant octopus.
