Call it what you want: in a funk, down in the dumps, depressed, burned out, apathetic, indifferent...most of us have been there. Author and coach Barry Foster has as well. On a steamy, hot day in the middle of a Florida summer, Barry drove a stake in the ground, and said out loud, "Enough". He stood up and admitted to himself that he was in a terrible funk and had been for quite some time. He was stuck and felt exhausted. He cared about very little and had withdrawn from everyone around him. Happiness was non-existent. Barry had lost his spirit and no longer felt as though he was in charge of his life.
