  • Summary

  • Hi, I am Jennifer - yoga instructor, Ayurvedic wellness educator, soul purpose coach, and unlimited potential guide. I have been practicing, studying & teaching yoga for over half of my life. I teach Ayurveda-inspired yoga with an emphasis on aligning with the daily rhythms and seasonal cycles. In addition to teaching yoga, I am passionate about helping women develop habits that create more ease in their lives, connect to their own inner knowing, and uncover their deeper purpose. Join me on this podcast journey as I explore radical rest, sacred rhythm, embodied yoga, nature rewilding and divine soul purpose. The goal of this podcast is to help women shift from worry to wonder, irritation to interest, stagnation to stamina, and separation to connection. Wisdom for Women from Yoga and Ayurveda will inspire women to transform knowledge into wisdom through deep rest, wonder, and lived experience.

Free resource: Nourished Summer Series - Nourished Summer is a 5 part series to help you align with the energies of summer. Summer is Pitta season. The qualities of summer(Pitta) are hot, sharp, mobile, intense, and either dry or humid depending on where you are located. Pitta is governed by the elements of fire and water and is responsible for the body’s metabolism and digestion. Pitta also plays a vital role in maintaining body heat and temperature. We can move out of balance in the summer by engaging in activities, lifestyle choices, and eating foods that have the same qualities as the Pitta dosha. Imbalanced Pitta results from too much heat in the body, which can accumulate much easier in the summer season. Some Pitta imbalance symptoms can include acid reflux, red skin or rosacea, loose stools, painful menstrual cramps, inflammation, excessive anger or irritation, and burning eyes. These symptoms can make it challenging to enjoy this season. You can find relief in this mini-series. The lessons include:

Eat - nourish with seasonal smoothies

Breathe - calm, cool & soothe with pranayama

Move - slow down & surrender with gentle yoga

Pause - calm & soothe with meditation & journaling

Rest - refresh with yoga nidra practice to connect with the energies of summer

Lovely, Well Done!

I greatly appreciated how the Ayurvedic author considered the listeners perspective, gracefully defining complex and fundamental concepts. Namely (i.e., during one episode), she leads listeners via guided meditation practice(s) and underscores the importance of love and light for the spirit (e.g., dialectically, despite conflict). Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
