  • Have you ever felt a little disappointed when, at the end of the year, the teachers in your studio receive praise and armfuls of gifts from students but you, as the studio owner, end up empty handed? Life as a studio owner can certainly be thankless at times and that’s often because the majority of work we’re doing is behind the scenes - think admin, logistics, training teachers, running a business! In this week’s episode of At The Barre we’re unpacking some simple strategies for dealing with those times when you feel unacknowledged in your studio. I offer advice and a few handy tools you can use to understand why you might be feeling unloved and how you can subtly shift your mindset to become more ‘at peace’ with a perceived lack of acknowledgement from your customers.
