  • Summary

  • To scores of people seeking a sperm donor, #9623 was sold as the perfect biological specimen: gifted athlete, music prodigy and neuroscience PhD with movie-star looks, a genius IQ and spotless bill of health. But it was all a lie. Dov Fox’s original hit series blew the lid off a multibillion dollar industry behind the creation of hundreds of thousands of babies every year. In this explosive next chapter, Fox examines the profoundly personal impact these revelations have on the people at the heart of it: the parents who were deceived, the children living with the fallout, and the donor himself. Now they must reckon with his bid at redemption and what it means for their painfully uncertain future. The thrilling conclusion of the 9623 odyssey unravels our deeply vulnerable relationships – when the ones we count on the most let us down the hardest. It’s a haunting tale of human resilience, the fragility of family, and what it takes to forgive the unforgivable.

A happy ending to absurdity

The podcast is excellent at all levels despite the absurdity and existential threat posed by the donor to those children that developed psychiatric illnesses!
