Both disturbing and boring

I’ve read Ellroy. I’ve been drawn to the books despite the violence and misogyny, as they capture a time and place. I listened to 2 of these. The first one was OK but not great. I bailed on the second one. I recognize the style. I get it. But if you’re a fan of the author, you can’t necessarily expect to like this podcast.

Profane, Boring and Trite

Profane, Boring and Trite may sound like a great name for a law office but it's a terrible way to make a podcast.
