Pretty wild that we've already been at this for one year! We couldn't skip posting today, and are bringing you a discussion on, arguably one of the best MCU films period, Captain America: The Winter Solider. Truly, a level-up for the MCU in terms of tone and genre story-telling that fires on all cylinders and fists pumping.

Hope you're ready for the sequel to end all sequels, truly one of the movies of all time, Thor: The Dark World, with Chris Hemsworth back as the titular Thor as he takes on Malekith the dark elf. Truly an iconic movie within the MCU filmography and Phase 2 overall. Ok, enough sarcasm, but seriously we do think this one is an interesting discussion where we dive into everything Thor 2, good and bad, for a movie that does play some role in the larger MCU.

Happy March! In celebration of Robert Downey Jr.'s recent Oscar win for Oppenheimer (congrats to him!), it seems fitting to discuss his last solo outing as Iron Man in one of the unique entries in the Infinity Saga, Iron Man 3. Definitely a movie we haven't seen or thought about in a long time but certainly a worthy three-quel in Tony Stark's character arc. And yes, of course we discuss THAT major twist.

A super-sized episode to wrap up Phase 1, we finally dive into The Avengers! Directed by Joss Whedon, this movie definitely changed the game for the superhero genre and it was worthy of a giant episode to cover everything in it fully. As the new MCU movie, The Marvels comes out today, we would like to take a look back in this episode and "marvel" at Chris Evans first outing as Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger. Definitely a movie we feel gets better with each viewing and is our last phase 1 movie before the whole team comes together in The Avengers.

Happy Thors-day (Thursday) and Happy Loki S2 Premiere day! Keeping the Thor love going by diving into the next movie in the MCU and looking back at his first outing, the eponymous "Thor", directed by Kenneth Branagh. Certainly a very different tone for all these characters where they started off and nostalgic to see these characters in such a different place than they've ended up now! Join us as we embark on the MCU's first journey to Asgard and the mythical New Mexican desert!
