    Welcome to another episode of the No More Dead Friends Podcast. Join your host James Evans and special guest Dr. Robb Kelly. Dr. Robb Kelly is a renowned Addiction Expert. Born and raised in Manchester, UK.
    Robb has overcome homelessness, alcohol dependency, trauma, PTSD and a whirlwind of events to be the "Gordon Ramsay" of the addiction treatment world. Before Robb succumbed to addiction and mental health issues, he played bass guitar at Abbey Studio with Queen, David Bowie, and Elton John. He is an accomplished musician, and the money he made helped him attend Oxford University to pursue a Ph.D. in Psychology. Robb experienced a spiritual awakening on the cold streets of Manchester while homeless and in dire straits.
    Robb's work ethic is defined by helping the addict step out of their disease and into a solution. We work with everyday people, professionals, and celebrities who want to reach sobriety and live in sustained recovery through evidence-based modalities and a genuine therapeutic alliance. Robb believes in helping marginalized communities because he understands that everyone has different worldviews when addiction is rearing its ugly head.
    Robb appeared on The Doctors CBS show, The Funky Brain podcast, and a San Antonio, Texas news segment about opioids and Purdue Pharma. Recently Robb appeared on the addiction celebrity podcast, Knockin Doorz Down. Robb is a beast in the addiction treatment world. Also, Robb is lecturing at the University of Texas at San Antonio about Addiction and recovery.

    Join your host James Evans and special guest Tripp Taylor for another great episode of the No More Dead Friends Podcast. Tripp tells his story of experimenting with drugs and alcohol at a young age while seeking acceptance and a sense of community through his peers. At a young age his family moved to a small mountain town in Tennessee which lead to Tripp being isolated from society and a larger community. As addiction ramped up in Tripp's life he also was faced with dealing with the death of his mother. After a few years of going in and out of programs and jail Tripp entered treatment for his last time and with charges lingering over his head moved to San Diego, Ca for aftercare and began his new life. At this time Tripp has over 7 years of sobriety and is the lead vocalist of the band Last of our Kind.

  • Episode 5: Tony Hoffman - From Prison to the Olympics

    Join your host James Evans and special guest Tony Hoffman for another great episode of the No More Dead Friends Podcast. Tony is well known for his story of going from prison to the Olympics. In high school Tony was a successful BMX racer with a promising career ahead of him. After experimenting with drugs and alcohol Tony quickly lost everything and became homeless and stuck in his addiction. After finally being arrested and getting sentenced to 4 years in prison, Tony had a spiritual experience that lead him on to his journey of recovery and a comeback to the BMX racing world. After suffering a leg injury Tony made a pivot and began coaching racing which eventually lead to him coaching in the Olympics in 2016.

    Tony is also a well respected speaker in the substance abuse and mental health field. Tony has made a career speaking and helping change peoples lives. His career in the field eventually lead to him becoming the co-founder of PH Wellness, an amazing substance abuse rehab in Riverside, CA.
