But minimalism has many facets, and it’s a tool that can help you live a more intentional, peaceful life. In this episode I’m joined again by Desirae Endres from the popular podcast Minimal-ish. We chat about how to make minimalism your own, and what she sees are the four pillars of minimalism. Desirae is a wife, mom to two girls, and the host of the Minimal-ish podcast where she talks about all things realistic minimalism, motherhood, and intentional living. In 2018, Desirae and her husband set out to live with less clutter in their home. Soon she found that the journey to less was about so much more than a clutter-free home. Desirae believes that a less cluttered life is where the idea of minimalism really makes a difference- a life focused on more of what matters, and less of what doesn‘t. Kari and her husband, Bobby, live in Naples, Florida with their combined five children.

    Kari and I talk about how her life "derailed" after the unexpected death of her husband TJ in 2015 and the steps she took to take inventory of her life and proactively redefine self-care so she could move forwards.
