Interesting story, but very slow!!!

At the time of this review, this podcast episodes have been getting published slowly over almost 3 years. It's taking a long time to get to an answer, and I'm wondering if it will just drag on forever. The episodes are fairly short and released very very infrequently. Each season doesn't have any kind of conclusion. There are also long musical interludes that fill time and I would prefer to skip. Let me know when it's complete, and I'll catch up then.

Rich Soil

Enjoyed every moment. Clever & intriguing. Not violent, offensive, or full of F-bombs. Can't wait for more! Mystery at its best.

Great story but presentation can be awkward

I really am enjoying the story of Dirt, however….the narrator has very unnatural inflections in his voice as if he is reading something he never read before.

Such as, “A man went….DOWN THE STREET…and over….TO….a…..garbage……….CAN…”. It is as if the emphasis is on the wrong words and a downward voice deflection in all of the wrong places. With some coaching this could be corrected and it would make all of the difference. It makes the narration distracting and I would really like to know what the outcomes in the story are….not sure if I will keep listening through to the end. It is starting to drag at episode 18 part 2! Trying to hang in!!

Bad Acting

I stuck with it because it seemed like a good story, but there’s not one person who can act and it wasn’t a easy to overlook. I had to break it up for that reason. Most of the Audible free series are very high quality professional productions so this surprised / disappointed me. And there are a lot of commercials. If ad money was necessary to produce the series, they should have hired professional actors.

Don’t bother until all episodes have dropped

Way too much time in between. Cliffhanger is one thing but this would have been an excellent story if it just had an end soon, not a year from now when I won’t be able to remember much about it other than annoyance from waiting.

I stopped listening when narrator described work project in detail

I have no idea what this had to do with the story. The narrator describes his job (unrelated to story) and details about a project he and his team are working on. It had absolutely nothing to do with anything, and it went on and on. I didn’t understand why.
