Dan Lennon | I Am Not My Pain

  • Resumen

  • Dan Lennon is a multifaceted individual who actively contributes to the psychedelic community. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, his life took an unexpected turn in 2014 when he experienced severe symptoms, including chronic pain, fatigue, depression, and cognitive dysfunction. Despite consulting numerous doctors, it took over three years for him to receive an accurate diagnosis of late-stage Lyme Disease and coinfections.

Throughout his journey to recovery, Dan faced significant obstacles such as high treatment costs and limited accessibility. With the support of grants and crowdfunding, he persisted in his treatment and explored a combination of Western, Eastern, and integrative modalities. However, it was his experiences with psychedelic plant medicines that brought him solace and transformation, fundamentally reshaping his perspective on pain and suffering.

Driven by his own struggles, Dan now dedicates part of his life to advocating for individuals living with chronic illnesses. His primary focus revolves around promoting representation and accessibility to psychedelic-assisted therapy, particularly for those who face similar hardships. Dan established a private healing practice, where he works closely with clients on a one-on-one basis, guiding them through transformative shifts in their lives, with a particular emphasis on psychedelic preparation and integration.

Dan's versatile skill set extends to multiple professional roles. He is a certified Kambo facilitator based in Austin, Texas, drawing upon this traditional Amazonian healing practice. Additionally, he co-leads the Men of Moai, a transformative men's group that provides support for personal growth and development.
