All Wheels Up founder and CEO, Michele Erwin joins me on the podcast to share how and why she is working with the FAA and Washington D.C. to create the first wheelchair accessible airplanes. We discuss what to do if an airline damages, loses or destroys your wheelchair/powerchair. Also, what to do if you are injured on a flight. Michele shares her personal experience flying with her disabled son Grayson, what it is like to start and manage a non-profit, the importance of handicapped people flying with dignity and safety, crash testing wheelchairs, as well as how she proved airplanes can seat wheelchairs with the Q'Straint system.
