If you were ever wondering, what a sweet little love story between a human and a Kraken looks like, this is it.

This kind of reminds me of a comforting bedtime story with a happy ending. Some parts didn’t hold my interest easily but I sped it up to 2.0 and then a little more than halfway through chapter 13 took it down to 1.5 and then also listened to chapter 17 on 1.5 speed because those were just about the only parts that were remotely detailed and adequate enough to get the job done. Glad I took an edible it helped.

The search for adequate and explicit Kraken stories continues.

This book was so pathetically boring that I know to avoid the author in the future. It is about a plus sized culinary student who falls, or was pushed, off a ship and rescued by a milk toast Kraken. I do realize that this book is fantasy, but I want my krakens to be fierce and wild. She cooks for him in his modern kraken kitchen and the rest is tripe. At least I got this audiobook on sale, so it was not much of a loss; just a colossal waste of my time.
