Second chance, and they really had to work to get that chance. I couldn’t wait for Marcus and Aidan’s story after book one. This was perfect! Just the right amount of struggle to bring these two together. Definitely pre-ordering the next I. The series when it it’s available. Narration was great! 5⭐️’s all around.

This series is just getting started and already so much love each of the guys - both brothers have now found their HEA - wow so many happy tears. Loved these life-long loves finding their way back to each other. Brilliantly read by these 2 amazing narrators.

Im so glad i found this series. Admittedly its my first by these authors and i love them!

Its the comfort i needed when i really needed it. It’s angsty without tearing you to shreds. Its just angsty enough for there to be some tension.

While the tale told is old as time - in this case boy meets boy, boy and boy break up, years later they find each other again - thanks to the performances of Alexander Cendese and J.F. Harding the tale told was rich with emotion and spicy times that made for an engaging title that left me feeling happy. My only sour note is while I always enjoy seeing the prior book's couple in the title you are reading/listening to now, I felt too much of the 2nd half centered on Alex and Christian planning and getting married. many authors are including the desire for marriage and kids in their work - this is bad enough in traditional m/f romance but to witness it in queer romance as well? I'm not against it, it just seems way too prevalent. The other thing that slightly rubbed me the wrong way is that Marcus and Aiden lost ten years of their life together then the authors short change them by not having a wedding but a quickie marriage in Vegas? Just as their college romance was done in the dark, so was their marriage.

I really loved this one. It was sweet and just what I needed right now. 🎧❤️📚🏳️‍🌈🏈

Aiden loved once and got burned by that love. But he can't forget him. His first kiss, first time, first love. Marcus. Marcus is now back and he is Aiden's brother team mate and best friend.

Marcus only ever loved one person and made a BIG mistake by leaving him behind. He is back and won't make the same mistake twice.

It read like an epilogue. Although the story focuses on new characters, I'm assuming, I know I missed things because I hadn't read book 1. It simply felt like whatever angst the characters had went through was quickly resolved and we were peeking back in to see how they got their happily ever after.

Make sure to read book 1 first???

I was counting down the minutes on this one to finish. I waited for it to get better but it didn't. It was just boring. Their story was done pretty much 2 hrs in. Even the spicy scenes got boring. It was all very repetitive until towards the end then it became slightly interesting again. I liked the first book. Hopefully book 3 is better.
