i listen to a considerable amount of audiobooks, many of which are of the theory/philosophy/nonfiction ilk - i have learned not to bristle at many mispronunciations (including the fact that 95% of these readings pronounce “kant” as “can’t”) - but this one absolutely takes the cake. the errors are so egregious and the voice so robotic that i actually took the time to make sure this was an actual voice actor and not a speech-to-text scam. i honestly wish i had saved my money and used a screen reader software to recite a pdf to me… yes, it’s that bad.

THE MOST TERRIBLE READER/NARRATOR - AVOID!!!!

Epoché = "a pockie," fascism = "fassism", and other similar mispronunciations were continual throughout. It is still listenable but it's distracting enough that I had to actually rewind some chapters.

I loved the book, but felt one-dimensional and more subjective than objective. Would’ve loved it to be more diplomatic, less narrow minded. One size doesn’t fit all!

The other reviews have also said it. The mispronunciations on this recording are baffling. However, his reading isn’t so bad that I couldn’t finish the book! & that’s better than some audiobooks for sure. But the words he mispronounces are not only distracting but confusing.
