It’s was really hard to keep the male characters straight no change in the voice. Kinda hunger games ish but more banter which was so good loved the ending can’t wait for the next book

The fact that this book had no smut and I can’t even complain about it. It didn’t even need it. Loved it. I couldn’t stop listening. It gives me fantasy, little bit of action, slow burn romance, plot twist and more. The book was written perfectly and kept me super engaged. The perfect voices were used to read the books as well. Loved!

This entire book gave me Hunger Games vibes (which I’ve reread multiple times because I love that series so much). The things I loved most about Powerless is that the MFC is so badass (way more than Katniss Everdeen). Its so easy to get attached to her and her journey. I also enjoyed the Elite status/magical aspect throughout this story. Very enjoyable and ends on a cliffhanger so hurry up Lauren Roberts and get the next book out!! ♥️

Everything was so captivating about this book. I couldn’t get enough. The desire and banter between Kai and Pey - WOW! Literally made my heart sing then scream in frustration. Ugh! The climax and ending had me holding my breath. The writing was soo so good. But my favorite part about this book is Chase Brown; i got so excited every time it was Kai’s POV. His voice was so perfect. Excited for whats to come in the future! (Prob my 2nd favorite book ever!)
