Very enjoyable

A collection of books, well done mysteries. Women, work, and history of nineteenth century efforts to restrain, contain, and improve women’s place in British Society.

Attention to detail

The attention to detail was excellent. Everything from clothing, personalities and locations, etc. Just loved everything about this series.

Fantastic

These three stories were very engaging and enlightening!

Poor Penny seems to get in trouble while helping to solve crimes. Here regard for James gets a little out of hand and she finally met his betrothed!

Off to book four to see what will happen next!

Silly stories

Silly and implausible stories that depict the police force and reporters in a very unprofessional light.

Not Very Good

These were clean, which is important to me but somehow unbelievable. I didn’t care for the character or her thinking and the reader had a lisp which I couldn’t unhear plus she wasn’t able to distinguish the characters voices very well. I barely started the second book, the story line may have been better than the first but it wasn’t worth the struggle to keep listening.
