A good continuation of Gell's story.

I very much enjoyed this book and watching Gell's continuing development.

This book has a much more complete ending than the first book. The ending is still open, but it feels like a more natural stopping point. (Though I sincerely hope that the author will complete the next book soon.)

Refreshingly bitter

So good that I'm not going to wait. Reading book 3 on royalroad.
Bought book one expecting satire, couldn't have found the furthest thing. Hits me in all the right places. thank you, keep up the good work :)

Wow….. needs to be an animê

Some one needs to make this whole story into an Animê, like “Sword art Online” style.
They definitely need to hire Traci Odom as the voice of Gell. God I hope this becomes one of those eight or ten book series.
Update: My original review (10/12/22) above was sorely wanting. I will add a few notes aimed at both readers (listeners) and the author. Book Three is in the works by MATERIA-BLADE.
I’m assuming this is a nom de plume for Dustin Graham.
I don’t care how, or if book three costs five credits on audible, but you need to finish book three soon and get Andrea Parsneau to narrate, with Traci Odom as Gell. Tell us more about Gell’s “sister” copy, and Miss Tutorial. Damn it, you are clearly an amazing author, just do it full time. Live off Raman noodles and club soda and sequester yourself. Daniel Schinhofen pumps out tones of books a year, and he is half the writer you are, Dustin Graham or Matéria-Blade what ever you are calling yourself. Book one was great, but somehow you made book two even better, finish book three.

This was an experience

I love love LOVED this book, the characters were wonderful and so different from each other. And while there where a few characters that might not have been good people, their was no true evil, no one dimensional bad guys/girls. every character had good points and bad points. It's so hard to find books that explore all the messy interactions that humans have in a realistic way. But not only does this book do just that, it also shows the underlining good in the world and how things that seem mean and evil might just be ignorance or people trying to get by. Thank you author for sharing your beautiful world with us.

this was a beautiful book

I feel like my heart was just kicked in the balls.
it's such a beautiful continuation of the first. The rollercoaster of emotion as Gell learns about life and morality, the was you feel as she learns about herself and others, and the way you get to experience those things with her.

I listened to this book at work and had to pause it because I was damn near crying in places.

The struggles of the characters feel so real. I wanted to give them a hug.

I can't wait for the next one.

to narration was awesome too.

A perfect story

Out of the three hundred audiobooks I’ve listened to, this is probably the first time a book has ever caused tears to well in my eyes.

Spoilers

I'm not crying you're crying.

That ending scene killed me so I'm staying home from work because people aren't meant to be productive while filled with this much sadness.
