I really enjoyed this book! I felt like it wasn’t quite as good as the first one, but it was still entertaining. Liz is tough and does not take any crap. Unfortunately, she is so headstrong and independent, that it makes things difficult for her to acclimate to her new norm living on a foreign planet. Add an unwanted mate to the equation, and she totally digs her heels in. Fortunately, for her, her mate works hard to change her mind. I did listen to parts five and six of this book on audio. I enjoyed Liz‘s narration, but I was less enthusiastic about the male character’s narration. However, it was not a total turn off, so I still recommend both the book and the audio.
